Phil originally studied Human Nutrition and Food Science, gaining a First Class Honours degree before becoming qualified as an osteopath in 2005. He is registered as an osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council and practised in Sheffield for several years at one of the region’s biggest and oldest osteopathic practices. Having also practised in Buxton since 2006, and after moving to a Peak District village, he established the Buxton Osteopathy Clinic in December 2008 and the Bakewell Osteopathy Clinic in November 2013.
Phil’s experience and reputation have been instrumental in the success of the Bakewell Osteopathy Clinic. Since 2013, the clinic has quickly established itself as a popular choice for local people across Derbyshire and the surrounding area.
Laura has been working as a manual therapist for the last 2.5 years whilst studying osteopathy and she is now in her final year as an Osteopathy student with the College of Osteopaths.
Since working in Buxton, Laura has had the opportunity to expand her skills with the use of Shockwave Therapy, electrotherapy and IDD Therapy. This complements her previous studies in Pilates and Sports Massage.
Laura is a holistic practitioner with a keen interest in integrating a whole-body approach. She treats with a mixture of soft tissue techniques and osteopathic techniques. She is an avid table tennis player.
